This is amazing well done, content. I hadnt even thought about this or considered or even realized that this was going on in Hollywood. Little women watch online 1994. Little women watch online 2019. Little women watch online 2018. This movie made me love Amy in a way the book didn"t. It justified all her actions. She wasn"t a spiteful and naive young girl who wanted to marry rich. She wasn"t a bad person. She was just another woman who felt lonely and wanted to be loved and payed attention to, and made mistakes due to loneliness. She felt like she deserved all good things, she felt like she deserved better and she did. PS- I know everybody feels bad for Jo because Amy burned her book, BUT a thing I never understood even when reading the book was, like, didn"t Jo hurt her first? And like the only way you can hurt Amy is by taking away social gatherings and pleasure (which Jo did, quite rudely) you could only hurt Jo by destroying her book. So, if according to people Amy hurt Jo in the worst possible way, didn"t Jo too hurt Amy in one of the worst possible ways she could? So how are either of them justified? Sorry, I just really got frustrated in that scene.
Who"s the third person up there with Maya and Kristen. SPOILER"S ALERT: One of them knocked down a lantern and the house caught fire and many people died. The End. No one needed yet another remake of this story. I love her. Still my favorite version of Little Women. In the older ones - from 1933 and 1949 - both actors who played Laurie were just too old (both well above 20 years old) not convincing at all. Bale was perfect mix : still young - 20 yrs old, but not too young, not looking like a child as Tim in the latest version from 2019. Bale"s looks and aura were perfect : if you look at him here, he has delicacy and sensitivity, but at the same time he is manly. The perfect combination that no previous version of Laurie had, and from what I saw, the newest is also missing (Chalamet is too childish looking. Besides, Christian and Winona in particular, had amazing chemistry on screen and. off of it, because if I"m not mistaken, they had an affair on set while filming Little Women. Beautiful couple.
I feel empowered somehow, this is why my mom said to not live your life on your husband. To make my own money so that you don"t need to ask him money to buy your red lipstick, women we have power?. The language is bad... the classic text is gone. They simplified the text. Where is the classic period... it is in the right time period. the same mess they did when they did the remake pride and prejudice? How can you use modern simple language? What are all so uneducated that we can not understand old English? I wonder will they butcher all period pieces to make easy enough for a 12-year-old to understand or will people believe that we use the same english throughout history. Will they mess up another Jane Austen Piece - or Oscar Wilde. That is why i am not a fan or new version of these movies. Fiona Rider version was more true to the text.

I enjoyed how the midnight margaritas dance scene plays over the end-credits music - nicely done. I"ve always been a huge fan of Louisa May Alcott"s novel Little Women but never of the film adaptations. That is, until now! Saoirse Ronan was born to bring Jo March off of the literary pages and into techni-color life. Greta Gerwig"s vision of the novel is absolutely breathtaking! Each frame is a work of art with a gorgeous pairing of musical score, set and costume designs. I could not take my eyes off of the screen. I thoroughly enjoyed Gerwig"s storyline with fluid flashbacks to develop each character"s back story and evoking personal emotion from a viewer"s standpoint. #Brava ????.
